Ingredients for Meatless Çiğköfte Recipe
- 2 cups of fine bulgur
- 2 cups brown meatball bulgur
- 2 cups boiling water
- 3 tablespoons of tomato paste
- 2 tablespoons of sweet pepper paste
- 1 tablespoon of hot pepper paste (you can adjust the bitter taste to your taste)
- 2 medium onions
- 1 tea glass of olive oil
- Half a tea glass of pomegranate molasses
- 3 tomatoes
- 2-3 tablespoons isot
- 4 tablespoons of red pepper
- 2 tablespoons sumac
- 1 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1 tablespoon of salt
How to Make Meatless Çiğköfte Recipe?
Soak 4 cups of bulgur with 2 cups of boiling water and cover it.
Add the spices, mix and cover until you prepare the other ingredients.
Grate the onion and tomato paste as seen in the video.
Add other ingredients except parsley and knead for 20-30 minutes. I preferred to knead in the kitchen chef, but you can also knead with your hand.
To better adjust its consistency, add parsley and a little more olive oil, knead in my hand for another 10 minutes, shape and put it on a serving plate.
